Below is a comparison of the airports and major airstrips of Greenland and Nunavut. Note that Iqaluit  is the sole paved airport in Nunavut, while seven of  the ten  fields on  Greenland  are  surfaced  with  tarmac. (So too, of course, is the USAF base at Thule). Note also that  we  have  listed  only the  civilian  airfields  in  Nunavut's   Baffin  Region.   CFS  Alert   is  not  listed,  nor are  the  civilian  fields  in   Nunavut's  Keewatin  or  Kitikmeot  Regions,   nor  those in  the  Northwest  Territories  or  in  the  Yukon.
