Challenger CL-604 MMA
The Challenger CL-604 MMA (or Multi-Mission Aircraft) is Field Aviation's maritime
surveillance version of the Bombardier bizjet. Three radar-equipped CL-604
MMAs fly patrols, FWSAR, transport, and medevac in Greenland. DeHavilland Canada DHC-7 Dash 7 STOL
and Ice Recce
DHC's Dash 7 STOL airliner has been out of production for two decades but is
still going strong. The Dash 7 were outshined as commuter airliners but excelled at rough field STOL
operations. One DHC-7 also took on ice reconnais- sance. An upgrade is underway to integrate Transport
Canada maritime surveillance sensors. The Raytheon Sentinel R1 / Bombardier
Global Express
The Raytheon Sentinel R1 is a variant of the Bombardier Global Express bizjet
fitted with a battlefield surveillance sensor suite. Sentinel R1 was developed to meet ASTOR, an RAF
