Purpose of the
DND 101 section of the CASR website
DND 101 will present an inventory of all major equipment currently
in use by the Canadian Forces (CF). For the interested citizen, it is necessary to have this
overview in mind when considering new procurement proposals.
DND 101 analysis seeks to avoid both
under - spending and over - spending
Wasteful over - spending of taxpayers' money is not
a recipe for success.
Nor does it foster the confidence of the Canadian citizenry
- either in any
specific military mission, or in the
'good governance' of our country.
DND 101 is for citizens who want
to know what equipment our military
now owns, what our Forces lack, and what the CF
needs most for the
specific tasks that we ask of them. |
